Shipping

Once you have placed your order we will receive your shipping label and start working on getting your little spider ready to go. We will have enclosed your spider/spiders. Instructions, contact card, warmer (if needed). Shipping Info - We are located in the USA and we only ship within the US.

MUST BE 18 TO ORDER LIVE ANIMALS 

**Live spider shipments are sent on Tuesdays with FedEx 2 day or overnight, depending on what you choose at check out. They can be shipped to your home if local temps are 40 to 84 degrees. If temps are not within that range they will be shipped to a FedEx location for pick up (HAL)**  We will not ship if temps are 99+ degrees or under 32 degrees. We observe both the lowest and highest predicted temps. If you are unwilling to follow these guidelines your order will be canceled minus a 3.5% processing fee. 

Spiders will be shipped by FedEx with Ship Your Reptiles or Redline Shipping on Tuesdays and  as weather permits. This is the only legal and safest way to ship Arachnids in the United States.  

 Arachnids have to be shipped in specially approved boxes (they aren't cheap) and require special labels. A lot of extra work and materials goes into making sure your Arachnid makes it safely to your home.

 The cut-off time for your order to be shipped is the previous THURSDAY at 11 pm pacific time. Orders placed after the cut-off date may not ship until the following week.

You must be home to receive your order for this guarantee.  Or if you chose  HAL you must pick package up from the FedEx hub the same day it's delivered.

DOA: Contact us within 1 hour of verified delivery with pictures and video of your spider; to show proof that it expired during shipping and we will refund the cost of the spider. You will not be refunded the cost of shipping, due to the fact that shipping is out of our control.


Order Cancellation: Order Cancellations that occur before shipping label is purchased (generally purchased on Friday by 1pm pacific time) incur a  3.5% restocking fee. Once shipping labels are purchased orders can not be canceled and refunded. Please be sure you have read the shipping information and agree to all terms before placing your order.


WE SHIP OUT EVERY TUESDAY - WEATHER PERMITTING. This is will be done by FEDEX GROUND only.

We will provide the spider a meal and misted cloth for transport. Please be ready to receive your spider by Thursday once shipped on the previous Tuesday. We don’t want any little one being left out in the heat or cold.

DOA REPLACMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

In order to receive a LAG replacement on a DOA animal, your circumstances must meet the below requirements. If your circumstance meets the listed requirements, your animal will be replaced free of cost. However you're required to cover the shipping cost of your replacement. If the species you've purchased is no longer available you will be given a few options to choose from. Those options being a replacement of an available species, shop credit to use on a future desired species, or lastly a shop credit to apply to anything available on website in the amount of the cost of the DOA animal.

  • Purchased overnight shipping as your shipping method, this information will be verified.

  • Shipment brought in shortly after delivery, and not left to weather the climate for hours.

  • Proof of DOA must be provided within 2 hours of delivery, sent via email to Spiderfriend00@gmail.com (That’s zero zero)

  • DOA as result of delays from FedEx, or UPS even though overnight shipping was purchased.

  • DOA due to a mis-molt in transit.
